Ranveer Singh starrer '83' gets a release date
The much-awaited Kabir Khan's film '83' starring Ranveer Singh has finally got a release date. The film will hit the cinemas in the summers.
Sharing the news with his fans, Ranveer Singh wrote:
"June, 4th 2021!! in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. See you in cinemas!!"
Film '83' is a sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan. The film will focus on the country's incredible cricket World Cup victory in 1983. The film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev. It also features Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Sahil Khattar, Nishant Dahiya, and Amrita Puri.
The film which was scheduled to release last year was getting postponed again and again owing to the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID19. Finally, the film is coming to the theatres on 4th June in five languages.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will also be seen in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' which also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah. The film, directed by Divyang Thakkar will release on 27th August 2021.
Ranveer will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus which also stars Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. The actor will be playing a double role in the film.
