When will Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom?
After 'Bachchan Pandey', the release date of another Akshay Kumar film has been revealed. The superstar will knock at the big screens in May with his upcoming film 'Bell Bottom'.
With things getting back to normal post-COVID-19 lockdown, the makers have decided to take the film to the theatres.
Producer Deepshikha DDeshmukh confirmed the release date of the film. She tweeted,
“Mark your calendar!!! #BellBottom arrives with a bang in cinemas near you!! Seee u in the theatres 28th May 2021 ...”
Set in the 1980s, the film is based on true events. Bell Bottom was one of the first Bollywood films to go on floors after the Covid-induced lockdown.
Leaked photos from the sets went viral on social media during its shoot in Glasgow, Scotland, in September and fans were gushing about Akshay's dapper retro look.
The spy thriller is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh. It is produced by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in other prominent roles.
The film is set to hit the cinemas on 28 May 2021.
