Malaysia decides not to bid to host World Cup/Asian Cup qualifiers

Malaysia will not bid to host the remainder of the World Cup 2022-Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers in June.

This news was confirmed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president Datuk Seri Hamidin Mohd Amin, who said that they decided against it due to the Covid-19 procedures in the country.
