Even as Maharashtra sees a sudden surge in new coronavirus cases, the Mumbai civic body has clarified that a fresh lockdown is not on the cards for the city, The BMC however, said stringent implementation of rules and Covid-19 guidelines will be ensured in Mumbai to prevent the spread of virus. BMC told that lockdown will not be imposed in Mumbai while adding that the situation is under control but being continuously monitored.
