It was in the year 1945 when Sachin Deb Burman created a landmark composition which turned out to be a major hit of its time. So much so that the tune has been recreated more than once in movies as well. None the less the same tune was also adapted by his son RD Burman in one of his evergreen compositions for the movie ‘1942 A Love Story’. The tune of the song ‘Rongila rongila’ was used as the intro music for RD’d music ‘Kuchh Na Kaho’.
The song depicts the inner cry of a lover for his beloved.
In the year 1945 Hindusthan Records released this unique number written by Jassimuddin, which was composed & rendered by Sachin Deb Burman. Again after 75 years the same numbers has been recorded in the voice of Urmi Chowdhury.
