SEBI made big changes in IPO rules, LIC got easier. The Securities and Exchange Board of India, i.e. SEBI, has revised the IPO rules on Wednesday. SEBI said that now a company can sell 5 percent stake through an IPO instead of the existing 10 percent.

भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड यानी सेबी ने बुधवार को आईपीओ के नियमों में संशोधन कर दिया है. सेबी ने कहा कि अब कोई कंपनी मौजूदा 10 फीसदी के बजाय 5 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी आईपीओ के जरिए बेच सकती है.
