Federal Court to deliver verdict on Malaysiakini's contempt case tomorrow
  • 3 years ago
Federal Court at the Palace of Justice will deliver its verdict on the contempt of court case against Malaysiakini over several comments posted by its readers.

This comes after the court had to postpone its verdict twice due to the movement control order (MCO).

Journalists will be allowed to follow proceedings, however not from the courtroom. A live broadcast will be available from the assembly hall at the Palace of Justice.

Meanwhile, press photographers and videographers covering the case will only be allowed to gather at the lobby of the Palace of Justice, as part of measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
