Disney+ is Working on a Wakanda Series.
The series about the fictional African nation featured in Marvel's 'Black Panther' is part of a new multi-year overall television deal. The Walt Disney Company and Ryan Coogler's Proximity Media will work together to produce content. Bob Iger, executive chairman of The Walt Disney Company, said Coogler's "vision and range have made him one of the standout filmmakers of his generation."
