Karan Johar announced Liger release date
Filmmaker Karan Johar announced the release date of the upcoming film 'Liger'.
Yesterday Ananya Panday announced the theatrical release of the film in Telugu. The film will hit the theatres on 9th September 2021.
Sharing the poster of the film with the release date, Karan on Instagram wrote:
"All set to pack a punch around the globe! #Liger is releasing in theatres on 9th September worldwide in 5 languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. #Liger9thSept #SaalaCrossBreed..."
Helmed by Puri Jagannadh the film features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. It also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy among others. The film will release worldwide in 5 languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film has been co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar along with Puri's production house Puri Connects.
Nothing has been revealed about the story of the film by the makers yet. Vijay will be seen playing the role of a boxer in the film. Now that the release date of the film has been revealed, details are expected to be given out in the comming days.
