The Supreme Court has refused to consider its earlier verdict on the dharna against the CAA in Shaheen Bagh. At the same time, the Supreme Court has said that the rights of others in public place cannot be affected by prolonged protests. The right to protest can never be anywhere and everywhere. The court said that prolonged protests cannot continue by occupying public spaces affecting the rights of others.

शाहीन बाग में CAA के खिलाफ धरने को लेकर अपने पुराने फैसले पर विचार करने से सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इनकार किया है. साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि लंबे समय तक विरोध करके सार्वजनिक स्थान पर दूसरों के अधिकारों को प्रभावित नहीं किया जा सकता. विरोध का अधिकार कभी भी और हर जगह नहीं हो सकता. कोर्ट ने कहा कि लंबे समय तक विरोध दूसरों के अधिकारों को प्रभावित करने वाले सार्वजनिक स्थान पर कब्जा करके जारी नहीं रख सकता है.
