Pooja Bhatt Unveils First Look Poster Of 'Bombay Begums'
Filmmaker-actress Pooja Bhatt unveiled the first look poster of 'Bombay Begums', the series that is set to premiere on Netflix on 8th March this year.
Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, 'Bombay Begums' stars Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Plabita Borthakur, Amruta Subhash, Aadhya Anand, Rahul Bose, Vivek Gomber, Danish Husain, and Nauheed Cyrusi in the lead roles.
Pooja Bhatt dropped the poster on Twitter and wrote:
“Rise & slay! There is nothing stronger than a woman who has rebuilt herself” Fair to say I’m back! Thanks to #BombayBegums & #Netflix So catch me (If you can) ...”
The Netflix series revolves around five women from Mumbai, who are connected by “ambition, desire, struggle for power and vulnerability”. It traces their journey as they fight obstacles in their careers and relationships while challenging societal norms.
Filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava also shared the same.
She wrote:
“Zaruri nahi hai ki begum sirf mehal mein rahe, kabhi kabhi woh boardroom rooms mein bhi milti hai. #BombayBegums, only on Netflix!”
