India, China to remove forward deployments in phased Manner: Rajnath Singh

In a latest development the government of India on Thursday confirmed thaw with the Chia. In his Rajya Sabha address on the present situation in the India-China border standoff, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that sustained talks with China have led to agreement on disengagement on the north and south banks of the Pangong Lake.
“Our sustained talks with China have led to agreement on disengagement on the north and south banks of Pangong Lake. After this agreement, India and China will remove forward deployments in a phased, coordinated manner,” the defence minister said.
