Government of India is encouraging Indians to Use the Desi app Koo which is an alternative to twitter and also to encourage the Atmanirbhar bharat. The Koo app won the Aatmanirbhar App Challenge organized by the Indian government in August 2020. Koo is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Users can download the Koo app on their iPhone and Android devices. The social media platform was developed by Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka in March 2020.

కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం భారత్‌లో స్టార్టప్స్‌ను ప్రోత్సహిస్తోంది. నరేంద్ర మోడీ ప్రధానిగా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన తర్వాత మేకిన్ ఇండియా కార్యక్రమంకు అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నారు. భారత్‌లో తయారయ్యే ఉత్పత్తుల గురించి నేడు ప్రపంచ దేశాలు మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నాయి. ఇక తాజాగా భారత్‌లో ట్విటర్‌ను పోలిన మైక్రో బ్లాగింగ్ సైట్‌పై పెద్ద ఎత్తున చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. దానిపేరే కూ (Koo)యాప్. ట్విటర్‌కు ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా ఈ కూ యాప్ అడుగులు వేస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే ఈ యాప్‌పై పలువురు కేంద్ర మంత్రులు, పలు రాష్ట్రాల ముఖ్యమంత్రులు అకౌంట్లను క్రియేట్ చేసుకున్నారు.
