After the destruction of the glacier in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, the entire focus is now on relief and rescue work. The biggest difficulty is coming to the tunnel of Tapovan, where about 37 people are trapped, relief and rescue work is going on at war level to evacuate these people. Mud filled in the tunnel is blocking the way. To remove it, a joint team of ITBP, NDRF, SDRF and Uttarakhand Police is engaged.

उत्तराखंड के चमोली में ग्लेशियर टूटने से आई तबाही के बाद अब पूरा फोकस राहत-बचाव के काम पर है. सबसे बड़ी मुश्किल तपोवन की टनल में आ रही है, जहां करीब 37 लोग फंसे हुए हैं, इन लोगों को निकालने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर राहत और बचाव का काम जारी है. सुरंग में भरा कीचड़ रास्ता रोके हुए हैं. जिसको हटाने के लिए ITBP, NDRF, SDRF और उत्तराखंड पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम लगी हुई है.
