Do you remember the milkman? For non-boomers out there, the answer is almost certainly no.Before disposable containers, people used to get goods like milk in refillable bottles, dropped directly at their door. Now, an online platform is launching just such a program in Toronto, and they're offering much more than milk.Loop is an online shopping startup, spun off from US recycling firm TerraCycle.Their new service will offer a variety of groceries dropped off at consumer's doors in reusable, refillable containers.Once customers finish off what they've ordered online, they can just return the dirty receptacles whenever they want.Amazingly, Loop's goods in reusable packaging will cost about the same as their single-use counterparts. The company's current focus is driving adoption and shifting behavior for the better rather than turning a profit
