Multi-agency probe into ‘foreign hand’ in farmers’ agitation, govt seeks info from 5 countries

A multi-agency probe is currently underway to look into the allegations of involvement of foreign forces in the farmers' movement, especially in the collection of funds and its use in supporting the agitation in India.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has sought information from at least five countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, Denmark and Sweden in connection with its investigation in the Gurupatwant Singh Pannu-led Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and other Khalistani extremist groups.
