Gothenburg’s film festival in Sweden — Scandinavia's largest — normally sells tens of thousands of tickets for its movies at screens across the city. With pandemic restrictions in place across the country, the festival has decided to stream its 2021 selection, but organisers have also arranged an isolated cinema on a former lighthouse island and one-person viewings at venues in the city to keep cinema in the minds of audiences, for when circumstances allow them back.
