Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the general budget. In his budget speech, the Finance Minister has also announced the imposition of agricultural cess on petrol and diesel. Nirmala Sitharaman said that agricultural cess of Rs 2.5 per liter on petrol and Rs 4 on diesel has been imposed. However, this will not affect the customers. It is believed that the government is trying to extract the profits made during the Corona period from the pockets of the oil companies.

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने आम बजट पेश कर दिया है। अपने बजट भाषण में वित्त मंत्री जी ने पेट्रोल और डीजल पर कृषि सेस लगाने की घोषणा भी की है। निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा कि पेट्रोल पर 2.5 रुपए प्रति लीटर और डीजल पर 4 रुपए का कृषि सेस लगाया गया है।हालांकि, इसका असर ग्राहकों पर नहीं पड़ेगा. माना जा रहा है कि सरकार तेल कंपनियों की जेब से कोरोना काल के दौरान हुए फायदे को निकालने की कोशिश कर रही है.
