Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the completion of the work of both dedicated freight corridors (DFCC) by next year. As soon as the work is complete, about 1600 freight trains will be shifted on both these corridors. Speed of goods trains running on the corridor 100 km. It will be hourly. At the same time, the speed of the passenger trains will also increase due to the existing track emptying, which will also improve the punctuality of the trains.
निर्मला सीतारमण ने अगले साल तक दोनों डेडीकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर यानी DFCC का काम पूरा होने की घोषणा की है. काम पूरा होते ही इन दोनों कॉरिडोर पर करीब 1600 मालगाड़ियां शिफ्ट हो जाएंगी. कॉरिडोर पर दौड़ने वाली मालगाड़ियों की स्पीड 100 किमी. प्रतिघंटे हो जाएगी. वहीं, मौजूदा ट्रैक खाली होने से पैसेंजर ट्रेनों की स्पीड भी बढ़ेगी, जिससे ट्रेनों की पंच्यूअलिटी में भी सुधार होगा
