Angaar' is a Hindi crime drama starring Jackie Shroff, Dimple Kapadia and Nana Patekar in lead roles. Other cast includes Om Puri, Mazhar Khan, Neena Gupta, Kiran Kumar and Kader Khan. The film was written by Kader Khan and Sujit Sen. It is said to be loosely based on the life of gangster Karim Lala. The flashback video features the Muhurat and some on-location glimpses of the film. The makers had planned a unique Muhurat by feeding poor children. The shooting began on the same day in Mumbai. The film was released in 1992.
