YOU AND I is an original song featured in Mike Cahill’s 2021 movie BLISS, from Amazon Studios. Written for the movie by Will Bates, the composer & producer called on his friend Skye Edwards of Morcheeba to sing it. Created during the Covid lockdown of 2020, Bates and Cahill had the idea of featuring a song in the movie which incorporated its themes. Knowing that Skye was to be the featured artist, Bates wrote the song specifically for her voice.
