The Andrew Eborn Show EWOOD I Dont Know

Ewood is the complete pop, soul and RnB artist, immersed in a cosmopolitan musical universe ranging from Michael Jackson to Janet Jackson, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, P!nk and Usher.

When one evening, Michael Jackson came on TV, an 8-year-old Ewood was mesmerised.

Half French, half English, Ewood chose to study Art (singing, dancing and acting) at The Conservatory in Paris and then at the age of 21 he moved on to Studio 68 in London. He was soon taken under the wing of Daniel Thomas (Peter Andre, Cheryl Cole, Emili Sande, Blue) who became both his vocal coach and all-round mentor. With his encouragement and backing Ewood went on to lay the firm foundations of an enviable career including UK and European tours and even an appearance on French TV’s ‘The Voice’.

Life couldn’t have been better, and his dreams were coming true when a series of catastrophic events were to bring everything to a complete halt and leave Ewood wondering if he would ever perform or even function correctly ever again.

In 2009 came the shocking news of his brothers’ suicide. It was a pain that was never to leave him and the first domino in a looming struggle with a deep depression.

In 2014 whilst on tour Ewood sought professional advice when his voice began to flounder unannounced and unexpectedly during the nightly performances.

To his utter dismay he was diagnosed with dysphonia and laryngeal dystonia.

Then, just a year later whilst out running, Ewood severely damaged his knee and was left barely able to walk and totally unable to dance for 2 years.

But incredibly, Ewood wasn’t ready to give up. For two hard years he fought the battle of his life recovering from his voice issues and damaged knee with therapy and medication which in itself caused more strain with awful fatigue and weight gain. But finally, in 2019 he came out of the other side fitter, healthier, wiser and with more determination and belief than ever before.

‘I Don’t Know’ is Ewood’s story of this hardest of times and is song writing and performance at it’s very best.

Charles Spencer "It’s rare to find an interviewer who’s done such a phenomenal amount of homework - thank you @AndrewEborn
for such a dynamic interview. "

"Quite simply, Andrew Eborn is a genius. Despite having fingers in more pies than Mr. Ginster, he manages to juggle all his interests and epitomise success. Entrepreneur, TV host, magician and bon viveur, I'm not sure how he measures failure as he's never failed at anything - but if you want advice on how to succeed Eborn's the man."

Ian Freeman, Treasurer, Royal Variety Charity, nephew of legendary impresarios Leslie Grade and (Lord) Lew Grade and theatre producer (Lord) Bernard Delfont.

" Brilliant buzzing & fun!" Ed Hood
