In a first, a contingent of the Bangladesh Armed Forces will participate in the Republic Day parade on Tuesday, commemorating 50 years of the country's Liberation War and establishment of diplomatic ties with India. This is the third time that a contingent from a foreign country will be taking part in the Republic Day celebrations. The other two countries being France (2016) and the UAE (2017).

गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर राजपथ पर परेड निकाली जा रही है। भारतीय जवानों के साथ-साथ इस साल बांग्लादेश के सैनिकों ने भी शिरकत भी। राजपथ पर राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद को बांग्लादेश की सशस्त्र सेनाओं के 122 सैनिकों का मार्चिंग दस्ते ने सलामी दी। राजपथ पर इस गौरव को हासिल करने वाले बहुत कम ही देश हैं जिन्हें भारत की सेना के साथ कदमताल करने का मौका मिला है
