The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has issued a new excise policy. Under this, if you want to keep more than the prescribed quantity of liquor in the house, then you will have to take a license from the Excise Department of the UP Government and you will have to give 12 thousand rupees every year to the government in the form of a license, not only the government has to pay 51 thousand rupees. The department will have to provide security. Action will be taken to keep alcohol in excess of the prescribed quantity in the house without a license.

उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी सरकार ने नई आबकारी नीति जारी कर दी है. इसके तहत अगर आप घर में तय मात्रा से ज्यादा शराब रखना चाहते हैं तो आपको यूपी सरकार के आबकारी विभाग से लाइसेंस लेना जरूरी होगा और आपको 12 हजार रुपये हर साल लाइसेंस के रूप में सरकार को देने होंगे, यही नहीं सरकार को 51 हजार रुपये आबकारी विभाग को बतौर सिक्योरिटी देनी होगी. बिना लाइसेंस के घर में तय मात्रा से अधिक शराब रखने पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी.
