Karisma Kapoor has given many hits during her career but 'Zubeidaa' remains one of the most spectacular performance from the actress. The film has completed 20 years since its release and Karisma remembers the film by sharing a special post for the film.
Sharing various stills from the film, the actress wrote,

The film did not earn money at the time of its release but till date it is considered to be one of the best works from Shyam Benegal. Directed by him and written by Khalid Mohammed, it is a story of inter faith love between an actress and a Rajasthani King. Film starred Rekha, Manoj Bajpayee and Karisma in lead roles.
This highly acclaimed film won the National Award for Best Feature film in Hindi and Karisma was praised by all for her amazing performance. The film is the concluding chapter in Benegal's trilogy that began with Mammo (1994) and Sardari Begum (1996).
On the work front, Karisma made her digital debut last year with Alt Balaji's show 'Mentalhood' which revolved around the lives of different mothers. Her comeback was welcomed by her fans and they are once again waiting to see her on the screen!
