Farmers won't be cowed down by NIA notices: Cong's Surjewala

The Congress has alleged that probe agencies such as the NIA have become "puppets" in the hands of the central government, and are now being used against farmers, who will not be cowed down by their notices. Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala's remarks came after the NIA summoned around 40 people, including actor Deep Sidhu, for examination as witnesses in a case related to Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) an 'unlawful association' under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and other Khalistani terrorist outfits.
