Anupam Kher wraps-up 'Kashmir Files'
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and Anupam Kher along with the entire cast and crew wrapped the shoot of the much-awaited drama 'Kashmir Files', based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley.
Anupam Kher took to social media and confirmed the shoot completion.
The actor posted a video on Instagram with the entire team of 'Kashmir Files' and wrote:
"Finally it is a WRAP for #TheKashmirFiles. What an emotional roller coaster ride this movie has been. Gut wrenching, sad, and truthful. A true story that waited for 30 years to be told! The world needs to know it. Thank you @vivekagnihotri and #PallaviJoshi for making this film. Thank you the cast and the crew for your love and dedication. Jai Ho!! #TrueStory #Exodus #KashmiriPandits"
The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, and Arpan Tiwari.
After the success of 'The Tashkent Files', director Vivek Agnihotri finished the script of 'Kashmir Files' after extensive research on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990. The filmmaker announced the film with its first look poster saying, "the film will be an honest investigation into one of the biggest human tragedies".
The film is scheduled to release on 15 August 2021.
