Delhi में ED की बड़ी कार्रवाई, हवाला कारोबार में शामिल दो चीनी नागरिक गिरफ्तार | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi arrested two Chinese citizens on charges of money laundering. Their names are Charlie Peng and Carter Lee. Both these Chinese nationals were living in Delhi, running a huge hawala racket for Chinese companies and causing crores of revenue to the Indian government. Last year, the Income Tax Department also raided the places of Charlie Peng. After this Delhi Police's Special Cell has also registered an FIR on Charlie Peng.

दिल्ली में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने चीन के दो नागरिकों को मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है. इनके नाम चार्ली पेंग और कार्टर ली है. दोनों पर चीनी कंपनी के लिए लिए हवाला रैकेट चलाने का आरोप है। केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी ने इन चीनी नागरिकों 15 जनवरी को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया था। इसके बाद इन दोनों की गिरफ्तारी हुई। गिरफ्तार करने के बाद इन दोनों को अदालत के सामने पेश किया गया। कोर्ट ने इन दोनों को 14 दिन के लिए ईडी की कस्टडी में सौंप दिया।

पिछले साल चार्ली पेंग के ठिकानों पर आयकर विभाग ने भी छापेमारी की थी. इसके बाद दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने भी हाल में चार्ली पेंग पर एफआईआर दर्ज की हुई है.
