China continues to maintain 100 mark in Covid-19 cases amid fear of second wave

Over the past four days, China has maintained the daily 100 mark in new Covid-19 cases, raising fear of a second wave in the country.

The Chinese mainland on Friday (Jan 15) reported 130 new cases, of which 115 were locally transmitted and the rest came from outside of the mainland, the National Health Commission said Saturday.

However, no deaths were reported on Friday.
