Andy Puggaard Thomsen, 75, is the first to get the Moderna vaccine in Denmark. He got the jab in Vejle at the Lillebaelt Hospital where he also gets his cancer treatment. Denmark has received about 5,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
Denmark leads the EU in vaccinations against the novel coronavirus thanks to a swift and smooth roll-out, and even more people would have got the jab if it had more available doses.
