Brooklyn Nets GM Sean Marks introduced James Harden and discussed the conversations with Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving that led to the decision to move Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert and seven future first round picks to acquire one of the best players in the league. The call also touched on the risks involved with acquiring Harden, who appeared out of shape and uncommitted to the Houston Rockets before essentially quitting on the team at a Wednesday post-game press conference. Marks acknowledged the struggles he went through early in the year, along with the looming Kyrie Irving absence, but emphasized the championship expectations the move allows the Nets to now pursue.
