जसप्रीत बुमराह चोटिल हो गए हैं. उनके पेट में खिंचाव आया है. जिसकी वजह से गाबा टेस्ट मैच खेलने को लेकर फिलहाल कुछ स्पष्ट नहीं है. जब तक प्लेयिंग इलेवन का एलान न हो. कुछ कहा नहीं जा सकता है. अगर फिट हैं तो खेलेंगे और नहीं होते हैं तो नहीं खेलेंगे. बुमराह लगातार क्रिकेट खेल रहे हैं और उनको लेकर गौतम गंभीर ने चिंता जाहिर की है. बुमराह को लेकर गंभीर ने कहा है कि बीसीसीआई को उन्हें बचाकर रखना होगा. इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ अगर सारे मैच बुमराह खेलते हैं तो फिर दिक्कत होगी. वर्कलोड मैनेज करना होगा. और गंभीर की ये बात भी सही है. किसी भी तेज गेंदबाज का क्रिकेट करियर बहुत कम होती है. अगर चोटिल हुए तो फिर रिकवरी में हुए छह-सात महीनों का समय लग जाता है. और क्या पता फिर से वो रिदम में आये या नहीं? तो बल्लेबाजों की तुलना में गेंदबाजों के साथ बड़ी दिक्कत है.

On the road for nearly five months since this year’s IPL, Bumrah has finally succumbed to the rigours of non-stop international cricket as he has been ruled out of the series-deciding fourth and final Test against Australia in Brisbane after suffering an abdominal strain during the preceding match in Sydney.
