The serum institute and Bharat Biotech vaccine have been approved for emergency use in India. But now there is a discussion about its price. In such a situation, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan called the vaccine safe for the country and said that it needed to be discussed. Rajesh Bhushan also said that the vaccines being available in the world are much higher than both the vaccines of India. Rajesh Bhushan said that the Covishield vaccine of the Serum Institute is priced at Rs 200 per dose, while that of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin is Rs 295 while the tax is priced at Rs 309 per dose.


सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट और भारत बायोटेक की वैक्सीन को भारत में आपात इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी मिली है. लेकिन अब इसकी कीमत को लेकर चर्चा हो रही है. ऐसे में स्वास्थ्य सचिव राजेश भूषण ने वैक्सीन को देश के लिए सुरक्षित बताया और कहा कि इस पर बात करने की ज़रूरत है. राजेश भूषण ने ये भी कहा कि विश्व में जो वैक्सीन मिल रही हैं, उनकी कीमत भारत की दोनों वैक्सीन के मुकाबले बहुत ज़्यादा है. राजेश भूषण ने बताया कि सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट की कोविशील्ड वैक्सीन की कीमत 200 रुपए प्रति डोज़ है, वहीं भारत बायोटेक की कोवैक्सीन की एक डोज़ की 295 रुपए जबकि टैक्स लगाकर इसकी कीमत 309 रुपये प्रति डोज़ है.
