The Progressive Medicos and Scientists Forum have demanded the rollback of approvals for emergency use authorisation given to two vaccine candidates by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). "Science can't be compromised in the pursuit of private profit and political gains. PMSF demands revoking the approval of vaccine candidates and revisiting the vaccination and approval strategy based on the efficacy data and other considerations," the forum said.

प्रोग्रेसिव मेडिकोज एंड साइंटिस्ट फोरम ने DCGI से वैक्सीनों की मंजूरी को वापस लेने की मांग की है कि फोरम ने कहा कि निजी और राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए विज्ञान से समझौता नहीं किया जा सकता है। फोरम वैक्सीनों को दी गई आपातकालीन इस्तेमाल की इजाजत को वापिस लेने की मांग करता है। फोरम ने कहा कि संतोषजनक डेटा के आधार पर ही इजाजत दी जानी चाहिए। साथ ही टीकाकरण की रणनीति पर दोबारा गौर किया जाए।
