UDF founder Mluleki George dies

Tributes and condolences are pouring in following the news of the death of Former Deputy Defence Minister Mluleki George. He died at the age of 72. The anti-apartheid activist was a founding member of the United Democratic Front. He left the ANC in 2008 to form the Congress of the People with Mosiuoa Lekota. George will be remembered as a unifying figure in sport. He served as President of Border Rugby Union, and chairperson of the South African Football Association.
