kaun aayā hai
koī nahīñ aayā hai pāgal
tez havā ke jhoñke se darvāza khulā hai
achchhā yuuñ hai
bekārī meñ zaat ke zaḳhmoñ kī sozish ko aur baḌhāne
tez-ravī kī rāhguzar se
mehnat-kosh aur kaam ke din kī
dhuul aa.ī hai dhuup aa.ī hai
jaane ye kis dhyān meñ thā maiñ
aatā to achchhā kaun aatā
kis ko aanā thā kaun aatā
کون آیا ہے
کوئی نہیں آیا ہے پاگل
تیز ہوا کے جھونکے سے دروازہ کھلا ہے
اچھا یوں ہے
بیکاری میں ذات کے زخموں کی سوزش کو اور بڑھانے
تیز روی کی راہ گزر سے
محنت کوش اور کام کے دن کی
دھول آئی ہے دھوپ آئی ہے
جانے یہ کس دھیان میں تھا میں
آتا تو اچھا کون آتا
کس کو آنا تھا کون آتا
कौन आया है
कोई नहीं आया है पागल
तेज़ हवा के झोंके से दरवाज़ा खुला है
अच्छा यूँ है
बेकारी में ज़ात के ज़ख़्मों की सोज़िश को और बढ़ाने
तेज़-रवी की राहगुज़र से
मेहनत-कोश और काम के दिन की
धूल आई है धूप आई है
जाने ये किस ध्यान में था मैं
आता तो अच्छा कौन आता
किस को आना था कौन आता
