It has been raining in the plains states of North India - Punjab, Haryana, Northern and North-Eastern Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh as well as Delhi for the last two-three days. Heavy rains were also recorded at many places in these parts on 3-4 January 2021. There is also a possibility of widespread rains in Punjab and Haryana on 5 January.

मौसम ने कहर ढा रखा है. जम्मू कश्मीर से लेकर हिमाचल प्रदेश, लद्दाख और उत्तराखंड तक भीषण बर्फबारी हो रही है. वहीं इसका असर मैानी इलाकों पर पड़ रहा है. पिछले कुछ दिनों से पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के कारण दिल्‍ली समेत यूपी, पंजाब हरियाणा, राजस्‍थान और उत्‍तराखंड के कुछ हिस्‍सों में बारिश हो रही है. दिल्ली-एनसीआर में पिछले तीन दिनों से हो रही बारिश मंगलवार की सुबह भी जारी है. अगले दो दिनों के लिए मौसम विभाग ने ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है. दिल्ली में 6 जनवरी की दोपहर से मौसम साफ होने की उम्मीद है लेकिन ठंड से राहत नहीं मिलेगी.
