While most of us are struggling with waste disposal on earth, Anirudh Sharma is working on a solution to navigate satellites amidst debris in space. Discarded satellites form space junk, which can pose a problem to active satellites in space. A computer science engineer by training, an opportunity to participate in the ISRO student satellite programme catapulted Anirudh into the space science domain. His startup Digantara is currently being incubated at the Indian Institute of Science, and has already signed on to partnerships with European communications firms Telespazio and Okapi Orbits.
