A Western Disturbance lies over Jammu and Kashmir. While a new western disturbance is coming towards North India. This system has also reached close to North Pakistan. During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells occurred over Lakshadweep. Scattered light to moderate rains over parts of Kerala. Cold wave conditions continued over isolated pockets of Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh as well as parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

पहाड़ों में हो रही भारी बर्फबारी के चलते मैदानी इलाकों में ठंड का प्रकोप बढ़ता जा रहा है. तापमान में भारी गिरावट हो चुकी है। दिल्ली समेत पूरे उत्तर भारत में शीतलहर का प्रकोप जारी है। दिल्ली,पंजाब, हरियाण सहित उत्तर भारत के ज्यादातर राज्यों में शीतलहर बरकरार है। राजधानी दिल्ली के मौसम की बात करे तो यहां जोरदार ठंड पड़ रही है। राजधानी दिल्ली में लगातार तीसरे दिन भी न्यूनतम तापमान 5 डिग्री सेल्सियस से कम रहा। दिल्ली के सफदरजंग में आज न्यूनतम तापमान 4.6 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया है मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक दिल्ली में अगले कुछ दिनों तक शीतलहर चलने का अनुमान है.
