As farmers continue to protest against the three new farm laws on different border areas of the national capital, Basketball player Satnam Singh on December 24 joined their agitation at the Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana). Singh, who is the first Indian to play in the NBA league of US, said he has come to “offer his services” to the farmers to ensure they “don’t face any problems”.

तीन नए कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ किसानों का आंदोलन पिछले एक महीने से जारी है. इस आंदोलन में कई नामी-गिरामी चेहरे भी शामिल हो रहे हैं. किसानों के इस आंदोलन को समर्थन देने वाला एक बड़ा नाम जुड़ गया है बास्केटबॉल का अंतराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी सतनाम सिंह. वे किसानों के आंदोलन में शामिल होने दिल्ली के सिंघु बॉर्डर पहुंचे. जहां सतनाम सिंह ने कहा कि वे किसानों को अपनी सेवा देने आए हैं ताकि उन्हें परेशानी की सामना ना करना पड़े.
