The counting of votes is underway for 280 constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir’s District Development Council (DDC) elections. Polling had happened across eight phases between November 28 and December 19. BJP has won 2 seats in the valley. During a discussion on the election results, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said these elections have given a clear mandate that people want the politics of development.
