Coronavirus: More countries ban UK travellers due to new COVID-19 strain

Canada has growing a list of countries banning travel from the United Kingdom in order to block a new strain of COVID-19 from entering their countries. The new variant is more contagious and is responsible for a wave of new cases in the U.K. There’s no evidence that it has reached Canada, but in Europe there is concern because people have been travelling over the holidays. Crystal Goomansingh reports on the strategy to isolate Britain and keep out the new strain of the virus
