The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) claimed that its three senior leaders were detained on Monday, December 21, a day before the counting of votes in the District Development Council (DDC) polls in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking to Twitter, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti said three senior leaders of the party were "arbitrarily detained". She said that looks like BJP is planning to manipulate DDC results tomorrow and don't want any resistance.
