Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that India may get the first shot of coronavirus vaccine in January. "Our first priority has been safety and effectiveness of vaccines. Meanwhile, farmer unions announced a day-long relay hunger strike on Monday at all protest sites to press for the repeal of the Centre's new farm laws. For 24 hours, a group of 12 farmers' unions will go on a hunger strike. After 24 hours, another group of 11 farmer unions will begin the hunger strike.
