Bengal: Shah pays tribute to Khudiram Bose in Midnapore

Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata in the wee hours of Saturday on a two-day visit to take stock of his party's affairs in West Bengal ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assemby elections. Home Minister Amit Shah visited the birthplace of Swami Vivekananda in North Kolkata and said that the ideals of the 19th-century icon are more relevant in the present-day world. Amit Shah also paid homage to Khudiram Bose with flowers at his (Bose's) native village in Pashchim Midnapore and met with Bose's family members and felicitates them with honorary garbs.
