As part of a campaign to reduce the number of stray cats in Shanghai, a van has been converted into a mobile cat sterilisation station. The van was put into service on the Chinese city’s streets on December 13, 2020, and on its first day, volunteer vets operated on four male cats while parked in a public area of Shanghai’s Pudong new district.
