Urging the government and farmers' organisations to resolve the impasse over new agri laws, industry body ASSOCHAM said on Tuesday the ongoing protests are dealing a big blow to inter-connected economies of the region. A daily loss of Rs 3,000 crores to 3,500 crores is resulting in economies of the region from the value chain and transport disruption because of protests, according to ASSOCHAM rough estimates.

भारतीय वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंडल एसोचैम ने किसान आंदोलन को जल्द सुलझाने के लिए केंद्र सरकार और किसान संगठनों से अपील की है. संस्था का कहना है कि इस आंदोलन की वजह से पंजाब, हरियाणा और हिमाचल प्रदेश में आर्थिक गतिविधियों पर असर पड़ रहा है. इस आंदोलन के चलते हर रोज़ करीब 3500 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हो रहा है. एसोचैम के मुताबिक इन तीनों ही राज्यों के कई उद्योग खेती-किसानी पर निर्भर हैं.
