Army Colonel booked for raping friend's wife in Kanpur

A person lodged a complaint against an Army Colonel alleging the latter raped his wife in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur on December 12. The accused, identified as Colonel Neeraj Gehlot, is posted at Kanpur Central Ordnance Depot. "On December 12, a person lodged a complaint stating that Colonel Neeraj Gehlot, who is posted at Kanpur Central Ordnance Depot, had invited his family for dinner at his residence. In his complaint, the person alleged that Colonel Gehlot raped his wife after he fell unconscious due to something mixed in his drink. A case has been registered against the Colonel and team have been formed to arrest him," a Rajkumar Agarwal, SP City, Kanpur said.
