As farmers' protests intensify, politics over the issue is peaking as well.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared that he too will observe a day-long fast to express solidarity with the farmers. Punjab CM Amarinder Singh termed Kejriwal's actions as "theatrics" and accused the Delhi government of "backstabbing farmers" by notifying one of the three farm laws on November 23.
Mumbai's Covid-19 task force, headed by the additional municipal commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Suresh Kakani, held its first meeting on Friday to draw a blueprint for vaccine storage, transportation, and distribution.
