Baja Hail Toyota Rally 2020 – Stage 2 – Highlights

The Baja Hail Toyota is a new event for FIA BAJAS WORLD CUP and will host the final two events of the 2020 season.
Located in northern Saudi Arabia, Hail was once a key part of the route taken by pilgrims for the Hajj by camel, and today is better known for its agriculture, in particular wheat and dairy products. As-Samra Mountain offers an incredible view over the city, while the surrounding desert landscape offers the perfect terrain for rallying.
Motorsport also isn’t new to the city with the Hail Rally first taking place in 2006, later becoming an FIA-sanctioned event in 2008, and was delighted to be part of the Kingdom’s first Dakar Rally back in January.
In fact, this year’s Bajas, on December 10-12 and December 14-16, come less than a month before the 2021 Dakar, providing competitors with an ideal chance to sample the same challenges that await next year.
